Robert Lewandowski declared that he will exit Bayern Munich and is reportedly eager to join Barcelona, but Manchester United have their knees in deep. The German side could fill the gap by bringing Sadio Mane from Liverpool. Chelsea is targetting Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde while Arsenal wants to sack Gabriel Jesus. Everton is confident of landing Tarkowski

Almost relegated Everton are confident about winning their bid for England defender James Tarkowski. He is a coveted player this summer as his status as a free agent on July 1 has pulled in several clubs that are desperate to get his signature. The centre half has reached the end of his four and a half year Burnley contract he signed in January 2018. Aston Villa and West Ham seemed to have lost interest in the player, and now he might be targetting a move to Everton with his roots based in the northwest.

The Toffees need funds to make transfer signings, so they will be compelled to offload players on big contracts this summer, with Gylfi Sigurdsson, Cenk Tosun, and Fabian Delph are all set to leave by the start of next season. So the club will have money that could be used to give Tarkowski, although he is looking for a bigger salary, near the margin of £5million a year, or £100,000 a week. Likewise, Newcastle has also entered the bid and can surpass Everton's offer. Still, Tarkowski was born in Manchester, and apart from a short spell with Brentford, he has preferred spending his career in the northwest.

Real Madrid faces a blow as their bid gets rejected, and Gollini leaves the Spurs

According to reports, Chicago Fire has declined Real Madrid's opening bid for excellent goalkeeper Gaga Slonina. The American has also been linked with the Wolves, but he dreams of playing for Madrid and fulfilling his dreams. Their opening bid has gone to chaos, but the Fire has changed their mind and is open to the goalkeeper finalising a move later. Meanwhile, Tottenham has declared that they will not bring Pierluigi Gollini, as Antonio Conte refused to initiate the clause which would have his loan permanent. Gollini was then brought on loan by Conte's predecessor Nuno, but he couldn't perform well in North London, so he will now return to Atlanta. Additionally, Fraser Forster will join the Spurs as a new backup to Hugo Lloris, which could be one matter out of several controversial issues relating to the summer transfer.
