Champions League: Chelsea to face Real Madrid, Liverpool against Benfica in last-eight
The last-eight draw of the Champions League took place on Friday, with Chelsea facing Real Madrid the most mouth-watering tie.
Liverpool have been drawn against Portuguese outfit Benfica, while Manchester City will face Atletico Madrid, who dumped bitter local rivals Manchester United out of the last round.
Bayern Munich v Villarreal makes up the draw, with the two-legged ties taking place on April 5-6 and April 12-13.
Should Chelsea and Manchester City both progress, the two sides will play each other in the semi-finals, while Liverpool will play the winner of the Bayern Munich v Villarreal encounter.
The semi-finals, which again will take place over two legs, will take place on April 26-27 and May 3-4.
The final will take place at the Stade de France in Paris on May 28, with the game having been moved from St Petersburg due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The draw in full:
