Borussia Dortmund's Julian Brandt on the radar of Arsenal and Tottenham - report
German midfielder Julian Brandt is reportedly being courted by both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, with his recent form at Borussia Dortmund making him a highly sought-after player.
In the past few weeks, Brandt has shown his class with a four-game scoring streak in the Bundesliga.
Brandt joined Dortmund from Bayer Leverkusen for €25million in 2019 and has since made 157 appearances for the club, scoring 29 goals and providing 30 assists.
According to Bild, the Premier League would be an attractive option for Brandt, who has not yet committed to a contract extension with Dortmund, where his current deal runs until the end of next season.
Although the Bundesliga club want to keep him for longer, it would seem that the two English clubs are willing to fight "at all costs" for his signature.
Brandt's all-around play has been crucial to Dortmund's recent success, and he has racked up nine goals and five assists in 30 games this season.
While he has spoken positively about his current club, the 26-year-old has also expressed an interest in playing in England.
If Arsenal or Tottenham are able to lure him away, it would be a significant coup for the North London team.
Dortmund, on the other hand, would undoubtedly be disappointed to lose such a key player.
