Brighton star Julio Enciso motivated by Manchester City rumours
Manchester City's reported interest in Julio Enciso has energised the Brighton teen.
Julio Enciso has not received anything from his agent regarding a transfer to Manchester City, but he added that it was the same before his Brighton move.
Recent rumors have linked him to a surprising move to the Etihad, indicating that Pep Guardiola is interested in acquiring him to bolster the team's midfield talent, especially considering the possible departures of Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan.
The 19-year-old Enciso gained significant attention in the Premier League towards the end of the season. He notably scored one of the most remarkable goals of the campaign during Brighton's draw with City last month.
This impressive strike marked his fourth goal in the final 14 Premier League matches, and he also concluded the season with three assists.
It is expected that players like Alexis MacAllister and Moises Caicedo will depart from Brighton during the summer transfer window.

However, Enciso himself confirms that he has not yet received any contract offer from the reigning Premier League champions.

"My agent didn't tell me anything about that. The same thing happened when I moved to Brighton," Enciso told Tigo Sports.
"I think if it's going to happen, it will and if not then I need to continue to work hard. It gives me a lot of motivation to have teams show interest."
Enciso's journey has been remarkable since his Premier League debut against Chelsea in October.
He has made ten starts in the competition since then, including matches against Manchester United, Arsenal, and City.
