Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel declares fitness for clash with Bayern Munich
Gregor Kobel, the goalkeeper for Borussia Dortmund, has announced his readiness to play against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga's top-of-the-table game on Saturday at Allianz Arena.
Kobel has missed the last four games due to injury and is eager to make his comeback for Edin Terzic's side.
"I am definitely fit again. In the end, you have to see what Edin does. But I'm fit and available again," said Kobel, speaking to Sky Germany ahead of the game.
With Dortmund sitting just one point ahead of Bayern at the top of the table, Saturday's match promises to be a critical encounter for both clubs.
According to Kobel, the key to victory for Dortmund is to maintain the form they have shown in recent weeks.
"I think we just have to pick up where we left off the last few weeks. We've played outstanding games, we've shown heart. We have also shown that we can get points when we are not playing so well. So we have a lot of confidence and we need a top performance this weekend, that's for sure," said Kobel.
With Kobel's return, Dortmund look to secure a crucial win and extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table.
