Bayern Munich have not given up on signing Tottenham star Harry Kane
Bayern Munich still believe they can prise Harry Kane away from Tottenham.

Bayern Munich are eager to intensify their pursuit of Harry Kane and are reportedly arranging another meeting with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

Spurs have already turned down two offers from the Bundesliga champions for Kane, who remains under contract with Tottenham until 2024.

Despite Tottenham's refusal to set an asking price for their star striker, the club remain optimistic about securing his long-term commitment. Kane's representatives have not ruled out the possibility of him staying at the club.

Earlier in July, Levy met with Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, but no indications of a potential sale were given by the Spurs chairman.

However, Dreesen and Bayern's technical director, Marco Neppe, decided not to join the club's pre-season tour of Asia. Instead, they hope to meet Levy in person again to negotiate a deal for Kane.

Levy, on the other hand, holds hope that the impact of head coach Ange Postecoglou could persuade Kane to remain at Spurs.

Bayern have discussed the idea of including a player in their next bid, which is anticipated to be a club-record £86million, with Benjamin Pavard potentially being part of the deal.

Yet, there is little indication that this proposal will entice Tottenham, who are exploring other options for Bundesliga centre-backs, such as Edmond Tapsoba and Micky van de Ven.
