Arsenal defeats Chelsea 4-2 and gets the necessary push for a Champions League spot

    Arsenal was equally matched with Chelsea during the first half. Arsenal started aggressively and got an early lead in the 13th minute, which helped set the stage for further goals. They controlled 32% of the ball and took 14 shots, compared to 68% possession and eleven shots by Chelsea.

    Eddie Nketiah in the 13th and 57th minute, Emile Smith Rowe in the 27th minute, and Bukayo Saka in the added time were the goal scorers for Arsenal, while Timo Werner in the 17th minute and César Azpilicueta in the 32nd minute scored for Chelsea.

    After receiving a perfect long pass from the Portuguese defender Nuno Tavares, Eddie Nketiah dribbled past Arsenal defender Malang Sarr and opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 13th minute with a calmly composed shot. Just four minutes later, Timo Werner scored the equalizer for Chelsea, pushing the score to 1-1.

    Arsenal regained their lead with a counter-attack in the 27th minute as Granit Xhaka drove forward and sent the ball towards Martin Ødegaard, who, in turn, sent the ball into the penalty area, giving Emile Smith Rowe the perfect opportunity to shoot the ball into the bottom corner of the net. No further goals were scored in the second half until the added time when Bukayo Saka scored the fourth goal for Arsenal after receiving a penalty, sealing their victory.

    Arsenal emerged victorious against the current Champions League titleholders with a score of 4-2. It was a memorable match for Arsenal as they recorded their 250th away win in the Premier League.

    Arsenal is leveled with Tottenham at the fourth spot with 57 points. If they can build up the momentum with this win, the Gunners will be able to qualify for a Champions League spot.
