Football News Wolverhampton Wanderers VS Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane takes points for Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur beat Wolves 1-0 to kick off Saturday's action. Antonio Conte's team conceded 12 shots in the first half but recovered to remain unbeaten
Wolves had frustrated the hosts for most of the afternoon, but, as in last week's derby, Spurs found a way and won.
Antonio Conte's men are unbeaten in their first three Premier League games, while Wolves have yet to win this season.
Ronaldo Nazario, the legendary Brazilian forward, was also spotted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday as Spurs beat Wolverhampton Wanderers to maintain their unbeaten start.
During the game, the former Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Inter Milan strikers were seen soaking up the atmosphere in north London.
While the game itself was not thrilling, the now 45-year-old will have been pleased to see one of the game's standout forwards at the moment, Harry Kane, score.
How did the match go? When did Harry Kane score?
The first 45 minutes were not the best advertisement for Premier League football, with neither goalkeeper seeing much action and the ball being given away frequently.
There were few clear-cut chances in the first half, with Kane and Ruben Neves' headers the closest either team came to scoring.
Spurs players were booed off at halftime, but they came out strong in the second half, with Kane hitting the crossbar with a close-range header.
Son Heung-Min came close to scoring after 63 minutes, but his shot from a tight angle hit the outside of the post.
Spurs took the lead a minute later when Kane got on the end of Ivan Perisic's flicked header from a corner to nod into an open net. Tottenham also scored their 1,000th Premier League goal at home.
Richarlison came off the bench late in the game and nearly scored his first goal for the club, but he missed the target.
Spurs held off late pressure from the visitors to earn their second win in three league games this season.
Harry Kane Impresses with his performance
Harry Kane was Tottenham Hotspur's hero again on Saturday, as his header propelled the team to a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A looping header punctuated a calm first 45 minutes towards the goal, which Sa tipped over. Following the break, he fired a fantastic header off the crossbar from Kulusevski's cross.
Soon after, he finished Son off with a curling fast free-kick. On 64 minutes, he headed home Spurs' 1000th Premier League goal at home.
It was also his 250th goal for Spurs and 185th Premier League goal, the most ever scored by a player for a single team in the division.
No other player has more Premier League goals for a single club than Kane, who has surpassed Sergio Aguero's total at Manchester City.
