Valorant caster asks why C9 dropped 'yay' from roster
Valorant superstar Jaccob 'yay' Whiteaker was recently dropped by Cloud9, with role issues being cited, but caster Arten 'Ballatw' Esa doesn't believe it.
C9 stated that the two parties went their separate ways due to role issues in the team, but yay's recent Twitter activity implies there is more to the story.
Yay's former OpTic team-mate 'crashies' tweeted at him that "[C9] did you dirty", to which yay responded with the famous Jose Mourinho image saying "If I speak I am in big trouble".
Caster Ballatw believes there must be something else going on because yay is considered one of the best Valorant talents in the world.
"You don't bench the best player in the world from the year prior because of role issues, and you certainly don't DROP them entirely letting them, become [an] unrestricted [free agent]," Balla wrote.
"Somebody really really dropped the ball and screwed up here."
