Overwatch 2 devs looking at Lifeweaver alternative control methods
The latest addition to Overwatch 2's support heroes, Lifeweaver, is frustrating players due to his complex kit.
Many have expressed their desire for alterations that would create a smoother experience.
Responding to the complaints, the assistant game director, Aaron Keller, announced that the development team is exploring alternative control methods to address players' main grievances with the hero's dash and weapon swap buttons.
The primary goal is to facilitate Lifeweaver's transition from a healer to a damage dealer.
The team will share more information as they continue to work on improvements.
In the meantime, players are taking it upon themselves to create alternative gameplay strategies, such as switching Lifeweaver's dash to the space bar and using the right-click for the secondary weapon.
Blizzard has not yet confirmed which changes will be implemented to enhance Lifeweaver's performance.
