Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong looking for revenge at MSI
Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong of T1 is determined to get revenge over rivals Gen.G at the forthcoming 2023 Mid-Season Invitational.
In the recent LCK Spring Split Finals, Gen.G rallied against the favourites to earn the championship trophy, much to the dismay of Gumayusi. However, T1 have still qualified for the upcoming MSI, where Gumayusi is plotting his payback.
"Before the finals, I was confident about myself and the team, and everyone predicted us, T1, to win, but when we lose like this, I get confused," the bot-laner told invenglobal.com.
"Was it because of the draft? Was it an in-game issue? Many thoughts enter my head.
"When we secured MSI first among all LCK teams, I wasn't that happy that two teams were going to the MSI, but ironically, we're going as the second seed. I'm not too disappointed about the loss itself, but I'm disappointed that I let the fans down. Although we lost in the finals, if we meet again at MSI, I'll make sure we have revenge."
The 2023 MSI event is being hosted in London, starting 2 May, and will feature LoL teams from leagues the world over.
