Flakked performs strongly for Heretics in LEC Summer Split comeback
Team Heretics' AD carry, Victor 'Flakked' Lirola, made a stunning comeback during the opening week of the 2023 LEC Summer Split, securing 31 kills in three games.
The 22-year-old played a crucial role in Heretics' perfect start, defeating SK Gaming, Astralis and Team Vitality.
Flakked showcased his versatility by playing three different champions: Draven, Lucian and Zeri. He died only four times while contributing to 52.5% of his team's kills and achieving an 84.7% kill participation, according to Oracle's Elixir.
Flakked's dominance earned him the Player of the Game title in all three matches.
His outstanding performance puts him on track to break the LEC format's kill record of 56 kills set by Heretics' previous AD carry, Jakob 'Jackspektra' Kepple, in the 2023 Spring Split.
Flakked could potentially reach 80 to 90 kills in nine games if he maintains this level of play.
Flakked's return to the LEC follows a stint with Heretics' Academy team in the LVP SuperLiga.
This surprising turn of events came after his successful year with G2 Esports, where he won the 2022 LEC Spring championship, achieved a top-four finish at the Mid-Season Invitational, and competed in the World Championship.
