FaZe CS:GO find 11th-hour replacement for first tournament of year
FaZe's CS:GO team have found a last-minute replacement for the 2023 BLAST Premier Spring Groups, with Patrick "es3tagg" Hansen joining the fold.
The Dane is stepping in as a replacement for star rifler rain, who had to drop out due to the imminent birth of his first child.
FaZe initially planned to use former Astralis player Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke as a stand-in, but BLAST denied the move because he was listed as Heroic's substitute for the tournament.
FaZe are also without their head coach Robert "RobbaN" Dahlstrom for this event due to personal reasons.
Es3tag has been looking for a new team since December 2022, when he got benched by Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Es3tag has played support and primary sniper during his career, but is expected to take on a rifling role in karrigan's team as the AWP duties are already handled by broky.
