F0rest battles to find new Counter-Strike team
Renowned Counter-Strike player Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg is looking for a new team as Counter-Strike 2's release approaches.
Despite his illustrious career, f0rest revealed on Twitch that he hasn't received any offers during the player break, making his situation challenging.
Although uncertain about the duration of his search, the Swedish player remains hopeful but acknowledges the rough circumstances.
Having started his professional journey in 2003, f0rest's passion for the game is unwavering, and he expressed his willingness to give his all for any team that welcomes him.
With numerous accolades in both Counter-Strike 1.6 and CS:GO, including an 87-map win streak with Ninjas in Pyjamas and winning the ESL One: Cologne 2014 Major, f0rest's experience and skills are highly regarded.
While he recently stood in for Fnatic at IEM Dallas 2023, the team's performance fell short, and f0rest faced criticism for his individual display.
As teams finalise their rosters for Counter-Strike 2, it remains to be seen if f0rest will secure a place in the highly competitive scene.
