Esports News: Counter-Strike competition "CS:GO Reignite" will start on January 9 in India
The grand finals will begin at 5.00 PM on January 15, and the winning team will receive Rs 65,000, while the losing team will receive Rs 35,000 in prize money.
The 'CS:GO Reignite competition, which will include the top esports teams in the nation, will kick off Counter-Strike in India in 2023 on January 9.
In the competition, which runs from January 9 to 14, renowned Esports teams, including Hyderabad Hydras, Velocity Gaming, Reckoning Esports, Revenant Esports, and Orangutan, will compete.
With a one lakh rupees prize pool, it will be exclusively hosted by FanClash, Asia's biggest esports fantasy platform.
Athletes with distinction like Tejas 'Ace' Sawant, Rishabh' Rakazone' Karnal, Sayyed 'Paradox' Kasif, Manoj 'Sentinel' Kasyap, Harsh' Harshhh' Arora, Swayambika' Sway' Sachar, Nishant' iFlicks' Murlidharan will attend the high-profile tournament.
Player Unknown's BattleGrounds (PUBG) and other smartphone and tablet games have mostly taken over the gaming market in recent years. The competition will serve as a launchpad for esports' resurgence in PC gaming.
"CS:GO is a legendary game, deeply rooted within the Esports community. With teams in the country branching out into multiple rosters across different PC Esports titles, this will proliferate CS:GO's importance in the community and make it a major title for Esports tournaments in 2023," said Richa Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of FanClash.

Fans can participate in the competition through FanClash by building their fantasy teams and using their esports expertise to access special incentives on the company's app. On FanClash's YouTube account, every one of the much-anticipated bouts from the competition will be televised live.
