Esports: India Gaming Awards Categories and Jury Announced

The categories and the jury have been announced along with each category nominee. With the rapid evolution of Indian gaming and the esports ecosystem's growth, the country's industry has begun to taste commercial success. 

Even people are learning how to broaden their views on esports. The India Gaming Awards, for that matter, commemorate and celebrate the best in the flourishing industry.

Fans and industry members can vote for candidates nominated in The India Gaming Awards, shortlisting streamers, esports athletes, tournament organizers, and game titles that were successful in 2021.

Presented by KFC and LOCO, the India Gaming Awards will congratulate all the winners in an award ceremony that will unfold in Westin, Mumbai, India.

The categories cited above have been termed popular categories that will be awarded based on polling by fans on the IndiaGamingAward website.

People registered to the site can vote, and the highest vote recipients over different categories will become final winners.

Other Categories

There are two other categories: Editorial Choice Award Categories and Jury Award Categories. According to IWM Buzz, the former was invented to honour credible, motivational, and ground-breaking work in the gaming industry. 

The Jury Award Category includes the Most Popular Game Of The Year, Most Popular Esports Title Of The Year, Indie Game Of The Year, Esports Tournament Of The Year, and Esports Athlete Of The Year, among exciting titles. 

The India Gaming Award aims to acknowledge and reward the hard work of the multiple stakeholders and talented people in the gaming and esports space to nurture the ecosystem.
