ESB announces lucrative Dota 2 league for 2024
Electronic Sports Broadcasting revealed that it will host a three-leg Dota 2 Tour with $2 million in prize money.
This comes as some relief for the professional Dota players, many of whom were left without an event after Dota Pro Circuit was discontinued this year.
Taking to social media, ESB revealed its latest plans…
"Several years ago, we embarked on this journey, starting from humble beginnings with professionalism, humility, and tremendous effort," it read.
"Gradually, we've built a close relationship with all of you who follow us diligently in every broadcast we make.
"Therefore, we are thrilled to announce that this year, we will host a league with a $2,000,000 prize pool, distributed across three tournaments, where we'll have the opportunity to feature the world's top teams and introduce innovative formats never seen before.
"Tour 1: April 3rd to April 14th - $500k; Tour 2: July 24th to August 4th - $500k; Tour 3: November 27th to December 6th - $1M.
"We are incredibly excited about this project and will soon share more details. Thank you for your unwavering support."
