Dota 2: Old G could qualify for TI12
Old G have qualified for the Dota Pro Circuit, racing through the DPC WEU 2023 Tour closed qualifiers to snatch a spot in the second division.
They will have to work their way up to qualify for The International 2023. The most optimistic path is to climb from Division Two to Division One, which would happen if OG drops down to Division Two.
Their Division Two run starts on April 5 and ends on April 25, with Team Secret and Alliance in the mix.
If they manage to nab a top spot, they'll move up to Division One, replacing OG, and put themselves in a better position.
"Technically, there is a chance for us to qualify for TI through points," said Old G's midlaner Topson.
"Like, if we make it to the Upper Division and get to the last Major, and win that Major, then maybe we get enough points. But you have to literally win everything to get enough points.
"Realistically, we are playing the TI qualifiers. Most likely, we are just going to end up playing the qualifiers. But we will see how it goes."
