Dota 2: Alliance and Ponlo part company
Alliance have confirmed the exit of position 4 player Remus 'Ponlo' Goh as they attempt to rebuild their team.
Despite the challenges faced, Alliance recognised Ponlo's dedication throughout his time with the organisation and wished him success in his future endeavours.
The decision to part ways with Ponlo comes after Alliance's struggles in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) Tour 3: Division II, where they finished in the bottom two and were subsequently relegated from Division II for the upcoming DPC season.
This setback means that the team will need to go through qualifiers once again to secure a place in Division II for the 2024 DPC season, presenting a new obstacle for the team to overcome.
Nevertheless, despite their relegation, Alliance will still participate in the Western European qualifiers for The International 12.
They will face strong competition from notable teams such as Nigma Galaxy, ex-Monaspa, Into The Breach, Team Secret, and others within their region.
This roster change signifies another phase in Alliance's ongoing journey to rebuild their team and establish themselves as formidable contenders in the Western European region.
