Dota 2: BOOM Esports move to South America with new roster
BOOM Esports has undertaken a significant leap from Southeast Asia (SEA) to South America (SA) with the unveiling of its fresh Dota 2 roster.
This strategic move follows the Indonesian team's recent parting with its former Dota 2 lineup earlier this month on the 3rd of November 2023. Expressing a clear intent to revamp its Dota 2 roster, BOOM Esports wasted no time in assembling a formidable team.
The newly-formed BOOM Esports Dota 2 roster boasts a lineup featuring Christian 'Pakazs' Savina, Jordan 'SLATEM$' Vega, Rafael 'Sacred' Yonatan, Farith 'Matthew' Puente, and Romel 'Mjz' Quinteros Rojas. Notably, this assembly includes two players each from Evil Geniuses (EG) and Thunder Awaken, complemented by one player from beastcoast.
Pakazs and Matthew bring their expertise from Evil Geniuses, while SLATEM$ and Mjz add their skills to the lineup from Thunder Awaken. Sacred, the fifth member, makes his debut with BOOM Esports after his stint with beastcoast.
The strategic prowess of the team is further fortified with the inclusion of Gor 'kaffs' Furtado as the coach. Notably, kaffs brings with him coaching experience from his tenure with Evil Geniuses.
