Most valuable player (player of the tournament): - Most valuable player is won by Jos Buttler. With the incredible performance of Jos Buttler, Rajasthan Royals reached their second ever final in the history of the Indian Premier League. He scored around 863 runs in total in this 15th season of IPL, becoming the second-highest scorer ever in a single season. With such a great score and performance, no other player was even close to him for this title in his competition. Thus, he was a much deserving player for this title of the season.

Orange Cap: - Orange Cap is a title given to the highest run-scorer of the season. This time, Jos Buttler gave an outstanding performance with 863 runs in 17 games with a strike rate of 149. He averaged 57.53 by the end of the tournament and looked to hit the ball like no other on the field. Throughout the season, KL Rahul from Lucknow Super Giants was in tough competition with him for the title amassing 616 runs with an average and strike rate of 51.53 and 135.58, respectively. But Jos Buttler set a mark almost impossible to beat, smashing four centuries in this season and thus becoming the orange cap holder of the season.

Purple cap: - This award goes to the bowler who scalps the most wickets in a season. One of India's best bowlers and Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal won this title in IPL 2022. He has taken 27 wickets, averaging 19.51, with an economy rate of 7.75 in 17 matches of this edition. Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was in a cut-throat competition with him for the title with 26 wickets in hand. Still, Chahal got the edge of one wicket in the finals to claim the title.

Emerging player award: - Umran Malik of Sunrises Hyderabad got the title of the emerging player award in IPL 2022. The young bowler managed to pick up 22 wickets in 14 games in this edition of the IPL. He delivered this performance with a bowling average of 20.18 and an economy rate of 9.03. Not all, but some of the performances of Umran Malik for Sunrises Hyderabad are praiseworthy. Malik managed to earn an award for the fastest delivery in every game he played in the season. Rahul Tripathi from the same team, SRH, has compiled 393 runs from 13 matches at 39.30 and was one of the tough competitors for this title as a batter. Tripathi even got a lot of support and praise from the cricket fraternity for precious knocks.

Fastest delivery of the season: - Lockie Ferguson got the fastest delivery of the IPL series 2022. During the final match between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals, he broke the speed barrier this season by delivering the quickest delivery with 157.3 kmph. It was a yorker-length ball outside off delivered on the last ball of the fifth over. Earlier, Umran Malik gave the ball at 157 kph in the fourth ball of the final over in a match against Delhi Capitals and would have won the title if Ferguson failed to clock that fastball in the finals.

Game Changer of the season: -  With his incredible performance and as a top run-scorer, Jos Buttler bagged one more title this season. Joss Buttler was awarded the season's Game changer for his extraordinary performance on the field. He smashed four half-centuries and four centuries this season. Andrew Russell of Kolkata Knight Riders was second on the list for this title. He played many game-changing knocks with his bat for the failing top-order of KKR. Apart from the bat, he also took crucial wickets for his team.

Super Striker of the season: - Dinesh Karthik won the super striker award this season and a Tata Punch car. He played for Royal Challengers Bangalore this season and got the prize for achieving a strike rate of 183.33. This is his career's best strike rate. The other top contenders for this prize were Rahul Tewatia, Liam Livingstone and Rovman Powell, who flexed their batting muscled nicely to be a super-striker.

Catch of the tournament: - West Indies cricketer Evin Lewis won the catch of the tournament this season. He was playing for Lucknow Super Giants and took the crucial catch of Kolkata Knight Riders' Rinku Singh in the last league match of the season for both teams. It was a one-handed catch sliding towards his left, and thus he sealed the game by a two-run margin and helped his team win the match. If not for him, Riyan Parag has taken some of the stunning catches for his team and would have been a serious contender for this award.
