9: The 39-year-old has claimed nine titles worldwide for various teams, including Sydney Sixers. His journey to the short-format trophy began dramatically with Hampshire. Now he targets the 10th in July with Outlaws.
380: The all-rounder is one of the first men to embrace the global T20 circuit with 380 appearances. His affinity with the Outlaws is seen in 74 appearances for the Green and Golds, twice the number he made for any other side. The Sydney based superstar returned for the seventh season with Nottinghamshire.
37: Christian's knock of 113 in 40 balls against Nottinghamshire in 2018 remains the joint third-fastest ton in the history of the T20 Blast. He reached his three-digit score in mere 37 balls, securing a name in Nott's history book.
He overall averages at 30.5 in 8 matches played in Blast to score 1921 runs at a strike rate of 148.5. Apart from the bat, the Australian all-rounder has scalped 272 T20 wickets at an economy rate of 8.41. Of these 272 wickets, 44 of those wickets were claimed in a Notts shirt. He had a starring role in 2020 for the Outlaws. He was awarded player of the match in both semi-finals and finals as Notts defeated Surrey to claim the title.
On his return to the team, Christian said, "My philosophy will remain the same for 2022 – to back our ability and be positive. The ultimate aim is to get our hands back on that trophy in July."
Notts head coach Peter Moores said, "He's a match-winner in his own right, and a terrific leader and example to everyone in our dressing room."
Nottinghamshire had a winning start under his captaincy against Worcestershire Rapids. Dan Christian will be a captain to follow in this tournament, looking forward to his 10th title as captain in the T20 format.
