SA20: Match Schedule Squads and Live Broadcast
Cricket South Africa's SA20 begins next year, with just days to go until the debut of a new franchise T20 tournament. A total of six teams will participate in the inaugural SA20 season, which is scheduled to run from January to February 2023
Six clubs will compete in the league: MI Cape Town, Durban Super Giants, Johannesburg Super Kings, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
They are all owned by organizations that also have IPL franchises. The teams filled out their lineups at the September 19 player auction, where batsman Tristan Stubbs was the most expensive player after being acquired by the Sunrisers franchise for about $520,000.
All six franchises can add up to 17 players to the roster. Teams can sign a maximum of five players - three internationals, one South African and one domestic player not yet on the squad - before the extensive player-signing process begins.
The SA20 will feature 33 matches, played from January 10 into February. All teams will play each other twice during the league ( home and away), followed by two semi-finals and the final.
