Mumbai Indians name Lasith Malinga fast bowling coach
Former Sri Lanka fast bowler Lasith Malinga has been appointed Mumbai Indians' fast bowling coach ahead of the 2024 Indian Premier League.
Malinga has replaced former Mumbai Indians fast bowling coach Shane Bond.
Malinga has previously worked with the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.
Mumbai have won five IPL titles.
Former Test cricketer MSK Prasad, meanwhile, has joined the Lucknow Super Giants as a strategic consultant.
Lucknow are new to the IPL and remain in pursuit of a maiden title.
"His involvement awill be instrumental in providing essential guidance across a spectrum of critical domains as head of talent search, talent development and our academy business," read a statement from the Super Giants.
