Despite having a tremendous strike rate in the season, Jos Buttler has played 158 dot balls in his ten innings, which is greater than any other batsman. The wicketkeeper-batsman opens for Rajasthan Royals and is in lightning form this season. Buttler is the top runs scorer this season with 588 runs with an outstanding average of 65.3 and a strike rate of 150.7. The batsman is in great form this season as he has smashed three centuries and half-centuries in the season so far. 

Faf Du Plessis (96 dot balls)

The South African destructive batter and Royal challenger Banglore's current skipper, Faf du Plessis, ranks second. Faf is known for his explosive batting; however, he has played 96 dot balls in the season. Despite being an explosive batter, Faf du Plessis has played many dots. It is the first season for him as the franchise's captain. Faf's innings have been quite inconsistent this season, and his strike rate has also lowered due to the number of dot balls he has played. The batsman has been brilliant in some matches but has also failed to score in some games. Faf has scored 278 runs till now, with an average of 27.8 and a strike rate of 125.7.

KL Rahul (94 dot balls)

It won't be an exaggeration to term Rahul as IPL's Mr Consistent. His performance in the last three seasons of the IPL has been simply superb. It doesn't matter which side he plays for but runs regularly keep flowing from his bat. However, despite being in great form this season, KL Rahul ranks third in the list with 94 dot balls. Although he has played many dots, his run flow has not stopped this season. KL has scored 451 runs in 10 matches with a stunning average of 56.3. Although he has played 94 dot balls this season, KL still has an appreciable strike rate of 145.02. The batter is on the second spot in the list of the highest run-scorer and has smashed two centuries in IPL 2022 so far.
