The morale of the bowlers’ uplifts only when they have a competent fielder to support their efforts. Here are the top five fielders who have made major contributions on-field by taking some tremendous catches:

Suresh Raina- (formerly for Chennai Super Kings)

The player has electrifying reflexes and will never miss a chance to grab a one irrespective of where he's placed on the field. Former South African player Jonty Rhodes, who is considered the best of all the fielders at the international level, praised Suresh Raina for his fielding skills.

While praising Raina, he said, "I have been a massive fan of Suresh Raina, for forever; ever since he started playing," Rhodes further added, "I know what the conditions of the fields are in India, and every time he practices, every time he dives, it's gonna be so much of heat. He doesn't even give a second hesitation of, should I have dived or shouldn't have dived."

    Kieron Pollard- (Mumbai Indians)

Ever since Kieron Pollard entered the arena of the Indian Premier League, he has not just been a threat as a batter on-field but has also made a mark as a fielder. He took some of the most unbelievable catches and was trusted by the captain for the most crucial spots on the field. The man from the Caribbean can take catches out of nowhere. He sits just below Suresh Raina for the most number of catches, having 96 catches while representing Mumbai Indians. Due to his height benefits, he can clinch catches at the boundary line.
