Ollie Pope played brilliant 145 runs and got out eventually by Trent Boult. Earlier Alex Lees made fifty, and Lees and Pope had taken England's score to 90/1 at stumps on Day 2.
New Zealand Leading wicket-takers: Trent Boult took three wickets by conceding 89 runs, and Matt Henry took one wicket by conceding 128 runs.
England Leading Run Scorers: Joe Root Scored 163 not out from 200 balls faced with 25 fours. Ollie Pope scored 145 runs from 239 balls with three sixes and 13 fours.
