Cricket Updates : Bad light stops the Sri Lankan momentum at the end of Day 3
After critical strikes by Pakistan's bowlers in the second Test on Tuesday, skipper Dimuth Karunaratne battled back pain to extend Sri Lanka's second-innings lead to 323.
The hosts had reached 176-5 when play was halted early on day three due to poor lighting, with stumps called in Galle after more than a half-hour wait for conditions to improve.
Karunaratne, 27, and Dhananjaya de Silva, 30, batted in an unbeaten 59-run stand.
