Cricket News : Who will be India’s death over specialist - Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah or Bhuvneshwar Kumar?
Under Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid, team India has had emphatic wins in the T20 format. While batters have revamped their technique, the pace department has also been growing
Amongst all the four pacers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has made a solid case to seal a spot in the T20 World Cup. His results with the new ball are unmatchable by any other bowler. He, alongside Jasprit Bumrah, is most likely to lead the pace attack, provided both remain injury-free.
Until Arshdeep Singh was not there in the picture, Harshal Patel's potency as a death bowler was unquestionable. But with Arshdeep Singh rising and performing well in Asia Cup, the choice of the third pacer has become intense.
Considering that the World Cup will be held in Australia, which is highly dominated by pacers, Indian management might consider bringing in an extra pacer and go with one spinner.
So, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel (if fit) would be the first-choice pacers in the World Cup squad. Arshdeep Singh seems more probable inclusion over Avesh Khan and Deepak Chahar, looking at India's need for a left-arm pacer in the team.
