Due to visa issues, the India-West Indies T20 matches in the United States are in jeopardy

According to a report, neither side's representatives have received their US visas yet, forcing CWI to implement a backup strategy.

The games were scheduled for August 6 and 7 at Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, Florida. Still, according to reports, many members of the Indian and West Indies squads have yet to receive their US travel documents.

"Having the games in the Caribbean is not improbable, but efforts are being made to resolve the visa issue," a West Indies cricket source was quoted as saying by the website.

"The players were supposed to be given their US travel documents in St Kitts, where the teams had arrived. However, there is a chance that the players will have to return to Trinidad for the visa documents and then to the US if they receive the all-clear."

IPL franchise owners ready to invest in BBL teams

According to Adam Gilchrist, the IPL's dominance is becoming "a little dangerous," according to Adam Gilchrist.

According to reports, Australian opener David Warner is considering putting his name on the new Emirates T20 League in the United Arab Emirates.

With the UAE League set to begin in January, Warner may be forced to withdraw from the Big Bash League (BBL) 2022-23, which is expected to be one of the tournament's most important editions.

Former Australian opener Adam Gilchrist commented on the situation, saying that CA cannot force Warner to play in the BBL while expressing concern about the growing monopoly of IPL franchises.

Gilchrist described IPL franchises acquiring teams in other leagues as 'dangerous,' claiming that the teams may have ownership over the players and talents in terms of where they can or cannot play.
