Perth Scorchers: Big Bash 2021-22 WinnersThe Big Bash League (BBL) is an Australian T20 cricket league launched in 2011 by the Australian Cricket Board. Eight city-based franchise teams participate in the competition.
In the 11 seasons of the Big Bash League, there have been six winners, with the Sydney Sixers being the most successful team in BBL with four Big Bash League titles.

1. Big Bash 2021-22 Winners
Perth Scorchers won the last edition of the Big Bash after they defeated Sydney Sixers. Perth Scorchers scored 171 runs as they batted first and limited the Sixers to just 92 runs. This meant they won the final by 79 runs.
Player of the Tournament: Hobart Hurricanes batsman Ben McDermott was named Player of the Tournament.
2. BBL 2020-21 Title Winners
The Sydney Sixers won the 2020-21 BBL, beating the Perth Scorchers by 27 runs to win their third title. Moises Henriques captained the Sixers, and it was the second BBL title for Henriques as captain.
Player of the Tournament: Joshua Philippe (Sydney Sixers) was named the Player of the Tournament that season.
3. BBL winners 2019-20
Sydney Sixers won their second BBL title in 2019-20, defeating Melbourne Stars by 19 runs in the final. The Sixers were led by Henriques.
Player of the Tournament: Melbourne Stars opener Marcus Stoinis was named Player of the Tournament.
4. BBL champions 2018-19
Melbourne Renegades won the BBL in 2018-19. The Melbourne Renegades defeated Melbourne Stars in the final by 13 runs. The Renegades were led by Aaron Finch.
Player of the Tournament: D'Arcy Short (Hobart Hurricanes) was named Player of the Tournament.
5. BBL winners 2017-18
The Adelaide Strikers won the 2017-18 BBL by defeating the Hobart Hurricanes. It was the first title for the Adelaide Strikers, with Travis Head being their captain.
Player of the Tournament: D'Arcy Short (Hobart Hurricanes) was voted Player of the Tournament.
