    In their most recent ODI series on foreign grounds, India defeated West Indies (3-0) and England (2-1). 

    Zimbabwe recently won against Bangladesh in ODIs (2-1) and T20Is (2-1).

    Zimbabwean cricket has been on the back foot in previous years, but they are now having a successful season. 

    They recently defeated Bangladesh in both ODI and T20I series before winning regional T20 qualifiers to secure their place in the 2022 T20 World Cup.

    Regis Chakabwa will lead Zimbabwe in the absence of Craig Ervine in this series. Tadiwanase Marumani and Takudzwanase Kaitano are anticipated to open the batting.

    Innocent Kaya, Regis Chakabwa, Ryan Burle, and Wesley Madhevre will create a powerful middle-order combination with all players except recent significant scorers Wesley Madhevre and Ryan Burl.

    In this match, Luke Jongwe, Donald Tiripano, and Richard Ngarwa will form the fast bowling trio, with Victor Nychi and Brad Evans eligible for selection. 

    Sikander Raza will lead the spin attack, including Wesley Madhevere and Ryan Burle.
