    Bhuvneshwar Kumar 201 Kmph

Indian bowlers have looked in fine form since South Africa's tour to India, especially Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The bowler scalped six wickets, having bowled 14 overs in the four matches played against South Africa to concede just 85 runs.

He carried his form to give a similar clinical performance against Ireland, taking a wicket in the first over, bowling at an economy of 5.50. What caught everyone's attention in the match was the speed gun clocking 201 Kmph on the second delivery of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, which seemed to be of moderate pace to the naked eyes. This wasn't the only such error; as a delivery later, it displayed a value of 208 Kmph, which left cricket fans baffled.

While the actual speed is yet to be ascertained, this gave a moment of meme-fest to the fans. The fans couldn't stop praising the bowler for his form on Twitter.

One of the fans hilariously wrote, "Shoaib Akhtar who ? Congrats Bhuvi".

Whereas another user tweeted, "WORLD RECORD Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered a ball at 201 KMPH. Fastest ball of cricket history. Sheering pace from Bhuvi."

    Joe Root reverse sweep

On the third day of the third test match between England and New Zealand, while the pressure building on the hosts was intense during the run chase, former skipper Joe Root showed his terrific batting side. The batter smashed a remarkable reverse sweep of Neil Wagner's bowling, leaving everyone stunned.

Neil Wagner was bowling outside the off-stump for quite an extended period. When the bowler didn't change the bowling area, Joe Root decided to take things into his hand and turned the game's momentum by hitting a six over the third-man boundary. The shot even left the bowler in shock and awe of its capabilities of Root.

Kiwi commentator Simon Doull called it a "ludicrous reverse sweep" in the commentary for Sky Sports. "My goodness," he added, as co-caller Mark Butcher giggled along, saying, "you cannot legislate for this".

One of the most technically sounder batters became one of the most discussed topics on social media platforms. Some of the eye-catching tweets are:

The rugby player Charlie Beckett's tweet read, "Joe Root may have just played one of the most ridiculous shots in the history of test cricket."

"Joe Root you CANNOT do that! #ENGvsNZ" tweeted journalist Georgie Heath

"Entertainment play" What Ben Stokes meant by this statement

England defeated New Zealand in the third test match to register a 3-0 series clean sweep at Headingley. With already a lead of 2-0 before the final test match, skipper Ben Stokes felt unwell and missed the training session due to the same. However, he wanted to ensure that players remained in high spirits and full of enthusiasm for the match. His intentions and mindset of winning the series as a clean sweep were highlighted in the words he used to address his fellow teammates.

On an eve-of-match, in a press conference, he said, "I've said to the players this week, let's try and think like we're in the entertainment business rather than the sporting business."

While the statement left many confused, leaving everyone to ponder the possible reason to call it an Entertainment play. The skipper justified it further by saying, "There's a reason why 20,000 people came out to watch us at Trent Bridge last week. So, I set a challenge to the team to be even more fearless, positive and aggressive than last week."

This tells that Ben Stokes not only wanted to win the final match but dominate it by playing a fearless knock with positive yet aggressive intent, giving moments of joy amidst the sporty outlook for the spectators who come to watch test matches.
