Proteas, on the end of day two, are standing on 289/7. The primary reason for the total was the solid partnership of 85 and 53 runs for the first and second wicket. Dean Elgar (47) and Sarel Erwee (73) gave an excellent foundation to the team.
The middle order, however, couldn't cross 25 runs mark, but Marco Jansen (41*) and Keshav Maharaj (41), who had seven boundaries, accelerated the lead for South Africa.
From England's bowling side, skipper Ben Stokes took three wickets to put South Africa under slight pressure.
Jack Leach said, "We are behind in the game, but we've stuck at it really well. Trying to take wickets, hard to sum up right now, but we could have got a few more. Got to keep at it."
The Bazball approach thought currently has many different meanings in fans' minds. Still, for England, it's about the positive intent and belief to take on any situation and turn the tables in their favour. Day 3 will be a comeback day for England as South Africa has just three wickets to defend now. England will be coming all-in with the attack to cross the lead and get a big total for visitors.
