Meanwhile, the visitors want to maintain their form from the first Test in order to win the series.

South Africa put an end to England's 'Bazball' streak in the first match at Lord's, winning by an inning and destroying the home batting line-up for the second time in three days to move 1-0 ahead in the series.

In the first test, England batted first but couldn't keep up with current WTC table toppers South Africa. Ollie Pope, the only batter for England, scored 72 runs off of 102 balls.

Only four English batters were able to reach double figures, and the home team eventually went out for 165 in the first inning.

South Africa came down to set the pace and was extremely successful, scoring 326 runs and taking a 161-run advantage.

England was hampered by South African bowlers in the second inning and was eventually bowled out for 149, handing Ben Stokes his first defeat as England's full-time Test captain.

South Africa's Nortje ripped the heart out of the batting with a three-wicket burst after lunch, finishing with six scalps, while Rabada finished with match statistics of 7 for 79.
