The Sri Lankans defeated Afghanistan in the first game of the Super 4 stage, while Pakistan defeated India in game two.

Virat Kohli's form appears to be positive for Team India. Virat Kohli also appeared to be at his best, making a "conscious effort" to hit more runs. Kohli scored 60 runs off 44 balls in the last match against Pakistan.
Apart from the Pant-Karthik dilemma, the rest of the squad looks like a settled unit with definite roles. Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the rest of the Asia Cup, with Axar Patel taking his place in the side. Rohit, Kohli, and KL Rahul will look to get into consistent run-scoring mode getting forward.
