Cricket Live Score and Update : Pakistan collects 10 points in World Cup Super League with 16 run victory over the Netherlands
The Netherlands scored 298 runs in reply to 314 by Pakistan. Superb batting in a tricky chase led by Vikarmjit Singh, Tom Cooper and Scott Edwards
The Netherlands was without some leading players like Ackerman, Glover and Merve and still managed to give a fight to the Pakistan team.
On what looked like a batting surface, Babar and Scott Edwards said they fancied setting a target - Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. They began cautiously, scoring just three runs in the first four overs, and slipped to 10 for 1 when an out-of-form Imam ul Haq was dismissed lbw by Vivian Kingma.
A big stand between Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam put Pakistan in a good position, but when it looked like Pakistan would score many runs, the Netherlands hit back with some quick wickets.
The Netherlands looked particularly weak in the middle overs - though, in fairness, most bowling sides do against Pakistan's top three. Fakhar displayed good touch.
